The penthouse is 99 steps from the Royal Palace, on a charming street w/ restaurants & shops. The penthouse is bright and spacious w/ a balcony. Master bedroom w/ queen size bed + full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is in a shared area between the living room and the dining area with a sofa bed for 2. Living room also has a queen size sofa bed. Separate restroom which opens from the hallway. Dining table for 4 people + separate breakfast table for 2. The rooftop terrace offers full panoramic views. Bright, panoramic views, spacious and very central. Direct view on the Royal Palace, Dam Square and the New Church. The Royal Palace is less than 99 steps away. Smart TVs, Internet, Chrome-cast, Netflix, Printer, Work Desk, Balcony and Rooftop Terrace. A small De Longhi Pinguino Air Conditioning Unit is set up in the living room that can cool the entire apartment, although slowly and if needed it can be rolled over to the main bedroom also. We listed the property as a two bedroom unit because the second sleeping area is essentially private from the first bedroom, but it is in an open area between the living area and the dining area. Dutch houses and apartments usually don’t use curtains, but we installed shades on every single window. You’ll have full use of the entire apartment during your stay. The rooftop terrace is also available for your enjoyment, provided it’s not already in use. Access is on a first-come, first-served basis, with long-term residents of the building having priority. Please note that the half bathroom and laundry room are in a small shoe changing area that is technically a shared space and not part of the apartment itself. Your private apartment begins from the second door, which opens into the main living area. For security, there is a camera positioned toward the first entry door. However, you will have exclusive access to this space during your stay, along with a personal key that allows you to lock the first door for your privacy and peace of mind. Best to walk or ride a bike. Noise restrictions after 10pm. No cars allowed in the immediate vicinity but there is street parking and a parking structure only 3 minutes away. This exclusive penthouse is not recommended if you're in town to party. It's in a quiet building with strict noise restrictions. Recommended for families, couples or people on business. The penthouse is in the heart of historic Amsterdam, where cars are prohibited. You will have to walk from the Uber/Taxi drop off area to the key pick up location and then walk again for 3-4 minutes to the apartment itself through a busy pedestrian street, some of which are cobble stones. Be ready for an immersive Amsterdam experience right from the minute you arrive:)
